Human Male Sexuality Part

Sexuality is an integral part of the personality of everyone: man, woman and child; it is a basic need and aspect of being human that cannot be separated from other aspects life. In many ways sexuality is the force that empowers us to express and display strong, emotional feelings for another person and is a natural stimulus for the procreation of our species. The 'thing' that attracts one person to another may not always be sexual - it could be sense of humor, personality, 'likeability', compatibility, or intelligence.

Human male sexuality covers physiological, psychological, social, cultural, and political aspects of the human male sexual response and related phenomenon. It encompasses a broad range of issues, including male sexual desires and behaviors which as a part of human sexuality, have also been addressed by principles of ethics, morality, and religion. Erectile dysfunction, male sexual response cycle, testosterone, sexually transmitted diseases, human immunodeficiency virus, long-term illness, along with religion and culture are explored in this article with the aim of improving one's knowledge base, self reflection, and awareness of the importance of male sexuality.

PENIS:-

This is the main male organ for coitus. This is considered the core symbol of masculinity. It is made of three bodies & covered with skin. This varies in size from man to man in flaccid state. The largest organ was 14 cm (5.5 inches) in the flaccid state. It belonged to a slim man who was 5′ 7″ tall (170 cm).The smallest penis measured 6cm (2.25 inches). It belonged to a fairly heavily built man of 5′ 11″ (180cm).

GLANS:-

The tip of the penis is known as glans. It is an expansion of the corpus spongiosum. The base of the glans projects out from the main body of the penis and this projecting margin is called corona.

PROSTATE:-

This gland appears to be a sexual organ. In animals which have seasonal sexuality, it is noticed, that the prostate enlarges during a mating season & then shrinks until the next. In the grown up human male, it is about 4 cms across at its base and is the size of a chestnut. The prostate is composed of muscular and glandular tissue. Its secretions pass down about 20 small ducts which lead to the section of the urethra that pierces the prostate gland, but their purpose is not yet fully understood.

SEMEN:-

This is a mixture of secretion from the prostate seminal fluids & spermatozoa from the testes. When a man reaches climax in sexual play, semen starts coming out of the penis with pressure. Each time in two days about 2 to 6 ml of semen comes out when man reaches orgasm.

SMEGMA:-

In clinical terms it is- sebaceous secretion about the penis or labia. Smegma is a mixture of dead skin cells & skin grease and looks like soap as it hides under the foreskin of the penis. In women it is found near clitoris. The presence of it denoted the poor standard of person’s hygiene, and it can contribute in transmitting diseases.

SPERM:-

This is the protozoa in semen. This is a male cell, which is capable of penetrating the ovum. Each sperm has an oval shaped head, a center portion & a long tail. They are generated by testes and once shot into female reproductive tract; they live only a few hours. Many sperm hit the ovum before one pierces the exterior by means of enzyme action & penetrates it. Once one sperm enters the ovum, another sperm cannot enter in it

TESTES:-

Testes are fairly uniform in size about 4-5 cm in length, 2-5 cm in breadth & 3 cm in width. They are situated below penis. Its main function is to produce sperms. Inside the testes there are about 250 glandular lobes. Tiny tubes collect the spermatozoa & eventually they enter the epididymis where a maturing process usually occurs.

Top 10 Benefits of Exercise in Everyday Activities

1. Driving -- Practicing Seated Posture, Relaxed Shoulders, Low Abdominal Support
Sit with your back tall (adjust your rearview mirror a bit higher so if you're not in a tall seated position you'll know right away!) Allow the hands to rest on the wheel, and let the shoulder tension drop. Practice pulling the abdominals towards the back of your seat while maintaining your tall posture position. This is how you should be sitting all of the time in any chair!

2. Driving -- Spine Rotation -- checking for cars -- turn and look
Our backs should be mobile and flexible to twist naturally and easily from the bottom to the top. Practice turning to look both ways for cars (right & left). You can turn from the top (head) to the bottom (navel). Or bottom to the top. Keep both hands on the steering wheel, and maintain tall posture. If you are turning to the right - the muscles close to the spine on the left actively push forward to twist each vertebrae, while the right side of the abs pull back, up, and in so both the front and back of the torso is actively engaged to rotate the body.

3. Trimming Bushes -- with manual hedge clippers -- Chest Muscles
By using the whole arm, (focus on squeezing the clippers to cut from where the arms meet the body) you'll get a fantastic chest workout while you're trimming the yard.

4. Getting up and down off a chair or toilet -- Squat, Glutes, Quads, and Hamstrings
We don't realize how many times a day we sit down and stand back up! Every time is an opportunity to strengthen the legs! By focusing on lowering down to sit with control the knees are bending and it's the hamstrings that control the movement. Think about actively pulling your sitz bones towards your heels to control the rate of descent. To return to a stand and keep the strain off your knees, it's the Glutes that need to engage to lift the body up from underneath the hips. The quads will work to straighten the knees, but don't let this be the first action to rise. Fire Glutes first, then quads to return to a standing position.

5. Waiting to check out at the grocery store -- Standing Posture, and/or 1-leg Balancing
What better place to work on balance and posture than when you're waiting in line to check out at the store? Practice standing legs together, even weight on both feet, knees unlocked, abs lifted, shoulders relaxed, head tall. AND practice balancing on one leg with the same tall posture and support.

6. Gardening / Weeding -- Abs/Back & Legs, Hands, bending over and standing up, squatting or kneeling Arms & Shoulders -- picking & pulling
We all have a dominant and weaker side. Focus on equal time for both sides of the body. Alternate pulling weeds with one arm and the other. Pay attention to which leg you squat or kneel on, and be sure that you are also alternating lowering and rising with the legs for a well-balanced gardening workout! Pull your abs up and in, then pull the weed!

7. Vacuuming -- Chest & Back -- Pushing & Pulling, using the arm to move the machine
We typically will rely on our dominate side to complete chores in a timely manner. Count the number of strokes across the floor you push and pull the vacuum with one arm, and then alternate sides. If you just bend and straighten the arm to move the vacuum (keeping your shoulders square to your task) the chest and triceps are doing the push forward, and the back and biceps are doing the pull back. Add a twist by allowing the torso to rotate when you push forward, and square the shoulders off when you pull back for more work with the abdominals and obliques. Also, pay attention to the leg that is forward. Switch legs when you switch arms. (Have the opposite leg in front to the arm that is working to counter-balance your movement.)

8. Sitting Up & Rolling Over in Bed -- Abdominals / Sit-ups
Any time you get up from a lying down position, or lay down from a seated position, it's an opportunity to strengthen your abdominal muscles. Strive to roll up and down evenly and sequentially (one segment of your back at a time.) If you rest on one elbow to push up to a sit you're not using your abs and are creating a muscle imbalance (chances are you always push up off the same elbow!) Use your exhale to assist through the challenging moments of the movement.

9. Mad, Passionate, Lovemaking! A superior whole-body exercise
This is cardio training when vigorously engaged. Core training with good thrusting action of hips & pelvis. An upper body workout if you're on top! There are lots of interesting possibilities and positions to improve flexibility! Plus, enjoy pelvic floor strengthening to improve posture, core strength, and bladder control. What better excuse for a great workout than sharing time with your sweetie!

10. Everything we do, every moment of every day gives us the opportunity to use our muscles and improve strength, flexibility, mobility, and body control.
Whether we are actively moving, seated, or standing still -- awareness of what we're doing and how we are using our bodies is important. It is the active use of our muscles to fight against the effects of gravity that provide the support we need to stay strong, fit, and flexible and enjoy a great quality of life!

It is must for you to protect your skin from getting damaged due to ultraviolet rays and pollutants. If you will take overall care of your body then there are high chances of you never getting any kind of skin problems. As you grow in age, there are several changes that keep on happening in your internal and external body system. If you have taken good skin care then your skin will never reveal your age. In short you will look younger as you grow in age.

Four basic steps for skin care - It is important that you take great care of the skin on your face, since it is very delicate and can be easily damaged. If you want to be sure that you have beautiful facial skin, you will need to take care of your skin daily. You will want to clean, tone, exfoliate and moisturize regularly. The first step of course is to cleanse your face in order to get rid of grease, germs, and dirt. Getting rid of dirt, grime and harmful bacteria will help prevent your skin from being damaged.
  1. Cleansing – Buy a good quality cleanser that suits your skin. There are cleaners available in market that is prepared keeping in mind different skin types. Hence select the cleanser that is prepared for your skin type. Cleansers are very effective in removing the makeup; dirt and dust form your skin. If you will not clean your skin properly then these dirt, dust and makeup particles will settle down in the open pores on your skin and this could be the beginning of pimples and other blemishes on your skin. Wash your skin well before going to bed in nighttime. After applying the cleanser on your face, wash it off with water. But be aware as over-cleansing can remove the entire moisture from your skin and thus will make the skin look dull.
  1. Scrubbing – Many women forgot this second step of skin care. But scrubbing is very important part of overall skin care. Make sure that you use scrubs at least once in a week, as it helps to remove the dead skin form the face and thus keeps the skin looking young and fresh. Buy good quality scrubs and use them gently on your skin to remove the dead skin. Rubbing with force can damage your skin and hence make sure that you have applied less pressure while scrubbing.
  1. Toning – Toners are helpful in removing the traces of oil, dirt and makeup form your skin and thus help is cleaning the skin thoroughly. If you think that your cleanser is good enough to remove the dirt and makeup particles, then you can skip using toners. But still toners are very effective in cleaning your skin, so nothing will be lost in case you include them in your skin care routine.
  1. Moisturizing – Your skin looses moisturizer and hence appear dry and lifeless. To avoid this you can apply moisturizing lotion before going to bed in the nighttime or after having bath. This way your skin will be well nourished. But here too make sure that you don’t over moisturize your skin or else your skin will appear oil

Sexual dysfunction may be a lifelong problem or acquired later in life after a period of having no difficulties with sex. Women are most likely to be satisfied with their sex lives if they are physically and psychologically healthy and have a good relationship with their partner. Although a host of changes in hormones, blood vessels, and tissues of the vagina can affect a woman's sexuality, relationship difficulties and feeling poorly, are the most common causes of sexual problems. Sexual problems fall into four groups:
  1. Sex Desire problems
  2. Arousal problems
  3. Orgasmic problems
  4. Sexual pain disorder
Most sexually active women have had pain during sex at some point in their lives. If it occurs often or is severe, this condition is referred to the sexual pain disorder. It can be caused by a number of problems, including endometriosis, a pelvic mass, ovarian cysts, vaginitis, and poor lubrication, the presence of scar tissue from surgery or a sexually transmitted disease. A condition called vaginismus is a painful, involuntary spasm of the muscles that surround the vaginal entrance. It may occur in women who fear that penetration will be painful and also may stem from a sexual phobia or from a previous traumatic or painful experience.

Causes of female Sexual problems:
The causes of sexual problems are as varied and complex as the human race. Any of the following can contribute to sexual problems:

Insufficient stimulation: A woman’s lack of knowledge about sexual stimulation and response may prevent a woman from achieving a satisfactory experience. Poor communication between partners can also be a culprit here.

Gynecologic problems: A number of pelvic disorders can cause pain in intercourse and thus decrease satisfaction.

Vaginal dryness: The most common reason for this in younger women is insufficient stimulation. In older women, the decrease in estrogen that occurs in menopause is the cause of vaginal dryness. Poor lubrication can also be linked to hormone imbalances and other illnesses and to certain medications. It can inhibit arousal or make intercourse uncomfortable.

Vaginismus: This is a painful spasm of the muscles surrounding the vaginal opening that causes the vaginal opening to “tighten.” It can prevent penetration or make penetration extremely painful. Vaginismus can be caused by injuries or scars from surgery, abuse, or childbirth, by infection, or by irritation from douches, spermicides, or condoms. It can also be caused by fear.

Sexually transmitted diseases – Gonorrhea, herpes, genital warts, Chlamydia, and syphilis are infectious diseases spread by sexual contact. They can cause changes in the genitals that make sex uncomfortable or even painful.

Vaginitis: Inflammation and irritation of vaginal tissues due to infection or other causes can make intercourse uncomfortable or painful.

Nerve damage after surgery: Unavoidable cutting of small nerves during pelvic surgery (such as hysterectomy) may decrease sensation and response.

Physical conditions: Many physical or medical conditions can decrease a woman’s satisfaction with her sex life.
  1. Tiredness (fatigue)
  2. Chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney
  3. Cancer
  4. Neurologic disorders
  5. Vascular (blood flow) disorders
  6. Hormonal imbalances
